Our Mission

Kairos Learning Design & Consulting was founded to challenge the limitations of traditional tutoring and one-size-fits-all courses. Here, personalized learning means more than just helping a student keep up—it’s about designing instruction for advancement, for bridging skill gaps, and for deepening mastery at pivotal moments. Yes, we can support a student’s current curriculum, but our work goes beyond that: we create targeted, responsive learning experiences exactly when they’re needed.

This same philosophy drives our partnerships with schools and educators. We design responsive, forward-thinking solutions—whether reimagining curriculum, creating assessments for a post-AI world, or leading faculty workshops that foster rigor, play, and true investment in learning. We see times of change—shifts in technology, priorities, or student needs—not as disruptions, but as opportunities for creativity and meaningful progress.

At Kairos, learning adapts to both the individual and the moment in time. Our team brings together the most talented, innovative, and student-centered educators I know—experts who combine mastery of their craft with deep care for the people they teach. Together, we deliver instruction, workshops, and consulting that are tailored, imaginative, and built for the challenges—and possibilities—of right now.

Who We Are

Amanda Gregory, PhD: Founder and Lead Consultant, Latin and Greek Instructor

Amanda is a classical scholar, educator, and program designer with a Ph.D. in Classical Languages. After teaching Latin and Greek at the university level, she has spent more than a decade in independent schools, where she teaches Latin, Greek, history, and literature—bringing the ancient world vividly to life for students in grades 6–12.

Her teaching is rooted in ludic rigor: a philosophy that blends intellectual challenge with creativity, playfulness, and joy. Amanda believes students should not only engage with a subject but invest in it—struggling productively, discovering their capacity for deep thinking, and finding personal meaning in what they learn.

Beyond the classroom, Amanda brings a wealth of leadership experience. She has directed admissions initiatives, led strategic planning, designed and implemented curricular programs, run international trips abroad, trained new faculty, and redesigned language programs to align with modern pedagogy. She has presented at national conferences and is a trusted partner for schools seeking to make learning rigorous, playful, and deeply engaging.
